Splitting meals?

I've been reading some of the dining reviews and many diners have reported that a lot of the portions are large enough to be split. When we've done the DDP in the past I've often left meals stuffed. We are paying OOP this time.

Here is a list of the places that DH and I plan to eat that aren't buffet or family style. Most places we will probably also have either dessert or an appetizer. I'm not the biggest eater, but DH has a healthy appetite. I hate to waste food, but don't want DH leaving hungry so I'd love some advice on which places, if any, you think we should just order one meal to split.

Kona breakfast
Kona dinner
Le Cellier lunch
Brown Derby lunch
Yak and Yeti lunch
Nine Dragons lunch
San Angel Inn dinner
Plaza dinner
Liberty Tree Tavern lunch

Thanks,

Brown Derby is the only one that I think wouldn't be enough for my husband and I to split. I usually get an appetizer here and then take a bit of his entree. If I was planning on dessert (we normally don't do), I'd be satisified with an appetizer and dessert.

Yak n Yeti has portions so large that my husband and I could split an entree and still take half of it home. The rest of the places are somewhere in between (the Plaza is the only one I haven't tried). I know the last time I had lunch at Le Cellier, I left over half of my entree and I hadn't done an appetizer, just had some bread.

I think it also depends on how big an eater are you. I would describe myself as a moderate to normal eater (unless I'm really hungry) - for reference, two trips to the buffet is usually more than enough for me and one normal sized sandwich is usually enough for lunch.

So with that being said, here are my two cents about Le Cellier and Liberty Tree:

Le Cellier lunch - I had left overs, but not enough for someone to make a second lunch from. I did order an appetizer (soup) and dessert (but shared the dessert with everyone).

Liberty Tree Tavern lunch - Enough for me (no appetizer), but I nearly finished it. I think I left a bit of bread after eating the sandwich filling.

Nine dragons is pretty much the only place I would even consider it. Sorry, I read the "split a meal" suggestion all the time but have yet to find 1 place where dh and I could do it and both people feel satisfied. I have had some meals where there were left overs but as Figment said above, no way would it have been enough for any one else.
I haven't eaten at Kona so I can't give an opinion there.
