Splitting Meals at Teppanyaki

Do the two of you eat?

DH and I share combo meals at Teppanyaki all the time- (we order the dinner salad that used to be included with the meal a la carte) and don't feel miserably full when we leave.

If you want to have a bit of sweet to nibble after your meal, continue around to the kiosk in Italy which has a gelato cart and tiramisu in the kiosk. YUM!

HTH....

I split with my 15 year old son and we both have enough. Unless they have shrunk the size of the meal, I think there is plenty for two to share.

It really depends on the person...DH and I split the combo steak/chicken a couple weeks ago. I felt like it was the perfect amount because I don't like to eat heavy and then go walk in the heat. DH kinda wanted a bit more, and he had the salad before too. He said it was enough, he wasn't hungry, but he had expected and wanted more. But he also didn't eat the vegetables that came with it much. Here's what you will get....first, they bring an appetizer, spiced pickles basically. Then you get a salad if you ordered one and a bowl of rice. Then you get the main dish and a vegetable-noodle thing that has zuchinni, and some kind of cabbage like thing in it. If you eat all of this stuff, I imagine it would be plenty anyway...just depends on how you eat.

YES!!! I guess if you were a huge eater, no, but otherwise, yes. You get the meat, plus zuchinni, mushrooms, onions and lots of sprouts, plus rice. If you plan to "snack around the world" you should share. I had the shrimp and scallops for lunch and it was so good that I ate almost every bite. While I was not uncomforatably full, I was in no mood for further snacking (although I did force down a french pastry several hours later.)

I'll go against the grain. Teppenyaki is one of the few meals at Disney I wouldn't split. The portions aren't tiny, but they are smaller than many Disney portions. Although, obviously, it depends on your appitite (France's bakery is also pretty close, so is the baklava at Morocco). And I always get scallops at Teppenyaki, and there are never enough scallops to share!

I agree, this one is one of our favorites. We always go for lunch so the portions are a little smaller. For the four of us in the family We order two adult entrees and one child entree, and my 3 yr old shares on all.
