We are on the deluxe dining plan on our upcoming trip, with a 6 year old DD and a 2 year old DS (who will be just 7 weeks shy of his 3 birthday). We have multiple TS reservations that are not buffets. With all of the food that we will be getting 3 times a day on the deluxe plan I really do not wish to order and pay OOP for a second kids meal. However DS wants to have everything the same as his sister.

My question is would it be okay to ask for the one kids meal to be split on to two plates? My husband I share with the kids anyway, but at his age he wants his own.

My 3 year old turned 3 while on our trip last year. There were a few instances where I bought him his own meal because he wanted something different than his older brother. However, most of the time I just asked for an extra plate and they brought that out and I divided it. It wasn't a big deal, and my 3 year old never complained.
