Do you think we need an ADR if we want to go for dinner and bowling on a weeknight in April? Anyone know whether they have features to help younger bowlers -- like bumpers for the gutters or ramps to roll the balls down? TIA!

I know they have bumpers because I used them LOL (I don't know about ramps?). I'm a terrible bowler but it's still so much fun!! It never hurts to have an ADR but I know that when we went we were able to order any food to the lane while we were bowling (you don't have to do a sit down meal in the "dining room")

Yes, they have both of these. The bumpers are automatic and come up when the little bowler's turn comes up.

I wouldn't think you would "need" ADR's ... And don't forget, you can eat right at your lane when bowling as well. We do this almost every time we hit the lanes. And yes, just another confirmation they do have both ramps & bumpers. A lot of fun at Splitsville!

We (just two of us) have never made reservations for lanes or dinner. We have done walkups every time and have never waited more than 30 minutes for a lane. Not too bad considering.

thank you! good to know about being able to eat while you bowl. is there typically a long wait for lanes? we were thinking about going around 5:30pm?

They have more lanes than you would think as upstairs has a lot of lanes as well and is bigger (to me) than the down stairs portion. As walkups, we have always had to wait for lanes no matter what day of the week or time of year we have gone. Though like I said, no longer than 30 minutes ever. Including holiday time and summer time.

Without reservations, plan to wait at least a little while. Nothing overly long I would think.

Our oldest DD has always wanted to try Splitsville. And seeing this trip is all about surprising our Princesses we are going to give it a try. I'm debating if I should book the priority bowling reservation? It's an extra $50 (family of 5). Is it worth it? I don't mind waiting a little for a lane but I don't want to wait an hour or more? We are going on 3/18 in the evening? TIA
