When we called to make ADRs, we could not get a table for 7 at LTT or 1900 Park fare. What the CM did was give us a table for 3 and a table for 4 at each place. Have you ever done this? Will we be seated NEAR each other?

The CM seemed to think yes for LTT but no for 1900??

We are also always been a party of 7 and many times we were 'split' when making our reservations. We were never separated once at the restaurant.

I can't say for sure, but the other day when I was on the phone with the CM booking a ressie, he suggested I do just that for a better time. He was going to give me a table for 2 and a table for 4 (we are a party of 5) and then told me that they would actually seat us all together once we arrive and they see we are one party. He said the restaurants do this all the time. I know I've read on other threads that some people were actually sat apart, but he was very certain that the restaurant would not do that. He told me that the CM's are allowed to book that way and that the only restaurant that they are told they cannot do that with is CRT. He was not one of those CM's that seemed to know nothing about WDW. He was very knowledgeable about many things compared to some of the CM's I've spoken to in the past.

Anyway, it's by no means a guarantee but at least I would certainly ask if you could wait a little longer to be able to be seated together. The worst they can say is no.

We were at WDW Sept 6th-14th and did get split up on four different occasions. We were seated next to each other every time, except once though. That one time we were completely across the restaurant from the rest of our party. The morning we were at Crystal Palace (again sitting at two tables next to each other), a huge wedding party came in. They too were split up at three different tables that weren't even particularly close to each other. They weren't too happy. Most of the time though, if the restaurant can seat your party together they will.

We travelled with a large group (19 in total) a few years ago. For one of the meals we had together, we did get split up, but were right next to each other. We had dinner at LTT in MK and had tables for 5, 6 and 8. :)

We had breakfast at Hollywood & Vine (before it was Playhouse Disney Pals) and managed to get a table for 17 though. The other two members of our party were not with us on that particular day. ;)

There also may be a slightly longer wait to get tables close or to be seated at the same table. We've never had any problem though.

We sometimes travel with my brother's family at WDW so we are a party of 9. A lot of times they split us up and it works fine. Most times they give us two tables next to each other and we have a table of parents and one of "kids". Other times they have put us at one big table. I think you will be ok, just tell them when you get to the restaurant you would like to be near each other.

Enjoy the Magic!!
