Split stays, DDP and Magicbands?

We have a split stay coming up and will probably do 1 night of dxddp at BLT followed by the regular ddp at BCV. We don't normally do a ddp at all so I have a few questions. Will I have separate bands for each resort? We plan on checking out of BLT and heading to a park but will need the ddp credits for lunch....do I have to check in at BCV first or will the ddp credits already be available on tha BCV band? TIA

IMO you might have additional DDP issues because you are having a plan at both resorts. Your MB has nothing to do with it, you can use the same band for both resorts.

The reported issues is that the DDP credits aren't always available until midnight of your check out day and the resort has to fix your credits. Add the additional credits from your 2nd resort and I fear a mess.

If it were me I would send someone to check in at BCV, get the room assigned and verify the DDP credits.

Thank you.If we have to we will pay OOP for lunch....I just figured out we will be paying OOP for our lunch on departure day anyway, so I can use that credit then. It would be great if it worked, but I don't want to push my luck

I am worried about this as well. We are staying at CBR for two days prior to moving to AKV for a week. We are getting the DDP at both resorts. My issue is that we will not be using one of the TS credits from the CBR reservation until after we check in to AKV and receive those dining credits.
I will notify them in advance that we still have them. Would it be better to also ask for one KTTW card at CBR so that there might not be any confusion on the credits, or do they even do that anymore?
Trying to just avoid a headache in advance.

I don't think that a KTTW card will help. Like the MB's the info isn't on the card, it's in your account.

I have been told over and over that Disney's software is first designed for the masses then if it makes financial sense, they tweak it for the minority.

Guests having a split stay on the DDP and DVC members are the minority.
