split stay with rapid fill mug

I am doing 2 nights at ss and then 7 nights at OK in Sept. If the mug is added to these resorts do I need to buy two mugs? This is our first split stay and we always buy the mugs. I could also not get a mug until I get to okw but will have to limit food at our resort so i don't feel I wasted money.

Mugs don't work that well at OKW. With either an undercounter refrigerator or a full sized refrigerator, it works better to bring or buy your own drinks.

As long as your split stay is consecutive nights then the mug is supposed to roll over. We have the same issue for our Nov trip, we are actually staying at 3 resorts consecutively, hoping it works for us without any issues. Of course I will be asking how it works at the first resort and making sure they take care of it OR instruct me on what to do when we move from resort to resort.....

I was under the impression that if you bought a length of stay it was good for 14 days from day purchased. Consecutive day stays or not - I mean if you bought a length of stay mug on say Monday, 8/26 it would be good until Sunday, Sept 8th. Even if you didn't use the mug one of more of those 14 days it would only be good until 9/8.

We are going to do a split stay next trip. We are buying the dining plan & will get the mug with that for the first part of our trip. We then want to stay 2 nights at a different resort, which will be our pool days and the time when we will need our mugs the most. I really hope they will work.

My interpretation differs from yours. The length of stay mug is good up to 14 days. But the mug will be programmed specifically for your arrival and departure dates. There won't automatically be 14 days of use on the mug. That would create an instant Black Market. You could almost see it now -- the scammers on Craigslist and at the Kissimmee gas stations and motels, selling used mugs they claim have days left on them!

But if you are doing a split stay with resort only reservations how are the cast members at the first resort know how long are you staying at the second resort? I say this because I am staying at 3 different resorts with 3 different reservation numbers for a total of 20 days and they are not linked in any fashion. When I get to the first resort - I thought I would tell them length of stay when I purchase the mug - which would be 8 days and then move to my second resort and use the last 6 days which would be at 2 different resorts in those 6 days. While at 3rd resort I will need to add either another length of stay or however they plan on adding days to an existing in use mug for the remaining 6 days.
