Split stay with FD pkg on 2nd stay. Will I be able to do 60 day FP reservations for 1st part?

Complicated question got the uber Disney experts:

Because of the limited dates for free dining this year, we had to book a split stay. Our theme park tickets are booked as pkg with second part of stay but we plan to activate tickets three days early as allowed. 1st part we will be staying at a Disney Springs hotel that now benefits from advanced FP at 60 days. Will I be able to book FP at 60 days from DS hotel reservation even though tickets are linked to 2nd reservation.

Your booking window opens 60 days before your DSprings check-in but you can only book for Stay#2 park days.

Thanks, well bummer. I was thinking we'd at least be able to do 30 day FP for those first 3 days, now I'm reading I may not be able to do FP until tickets ar activated?

Correct. When you reach WDW, you can activate your tickets at a Ticket Window or Guest Relations. Then, immediately book your FPs for those days.
