Split stay - when to get concerned about Magicbands not shipping

I have a split stay booked starting 11/5. The first stay is from 11/5-11/7. I selected the Magicbands I wanted months ago, but they haven't shipped yet. The order status has said "Will ship any moment" for about 2 weeks now. The magicbands for the second part of the stay have shipped already.

When should I get concerned? Is this typical?

You only need one set. The MBs will work for both resorts, all park entrances, and FPs.

We arrive on the 5th as well and I got mine wednesday.. Should be very shortly!

We arrive on the 8th and our bands should be delivered today. As a previous poster said, you only need one set. Every magicband assigned to you is interchangeable since they are all linked to the same MDE profile. IF they do not ship by around Tuesday, I would call to check in. The worst case scenario is that they do not ship at all and you have to pick them up at the resort's front desk.

While this isn't typical, it's not unusual either. We just got back from a 2 week split stay - total of 4 resorts. Not only did we have the 4 MBs for the resorts, we had also waited till this trip to get our AP bands as well, so 5 sets. The status and tracking on the Disney site was bad (one set never did say it shipped), but the USPS "tracking" was an absolute joke. We received all the bands, but they didn't come in the order they should have.

As already posted, you don't need both sets (we certainly didn't need 5, but the MB Christmas tree chain isn't long enough yet), one will do.

I expect they will come in time, but if they don't, you'll still be OK.

They usually ship about 4 weeks before check in. I'd guess that there's some glitch updating your MDE and the bands will just show up at your house within a few days. Regardless, even if your bands for your first reservation don't show up, you don't have any problem, because every MB linked to you on your MDE account will work interchangeably.

Did you book the first part through an online TA like expedia? If so, call. The address might be causing a hangup if the address on their back end is Expedia's but you of course need them shipped to your home.

But you only NEED one set, assuming you have everything linked to the same MDE account.

chances are both sets shipped with the one that is shipped and on it's way.. but as mentioned you only need 1 to get into your room and 1 set shipped.
