ok so we are doing a split say and having the dxddp on both stays. I mapped out our dining plans and on our switch day, we will have ONE ts credit left from the first stay and will be getting our next full credits when we check into the second resort (about 11am). We wanted to eat at LE Cellier for lunch(2credits) .... Question is, will it be easy to use the one last credit from the first stay, and one ts credit from the new stay? Will they know how? How can I know it's right?

Interesting scenario. Ask the server, but I would imagine - assuming there's 2 of you - that they can prioritize to run the credits from the first reservation first, since those expire at midnight. There will be 2 "pooled" credits from the first reservation - I would think they could run those 2ncredits for Person 1. Then run the 2 credits for Person 2 from the second reservation.

Scenario One: Are you trying to combine 1 credit from your first DxDDP with 1 credit from your second DxDDP to pay for a 2 credit Le Cellier meal?

Scenario Two: Or, are there 2 of you and you each have 1 credit left from the first DxDDP?

If it is Scenario One, you cannot combine credits from 2 different resort stays to pay for a single meal.

If it is Scenario Two, it can be done. Let the server know you have 2 credits left on your first plan from Resort ABC that you want taken off first to pay for one person's meal. For the second person you want to use 2 credits from your second plan from Resort DEF.

it is scenario TWO. There are 5 of us all on the DxDD P for both trips. the 5 of us will each have one credit left from the first stay. I was hoping I could one from first stay and one from the next stay...ugh!!

Sounds like you need to move Le Cellier to a different day and plan on a one credit breakfast or dinner on that switch day.

Unfortunately, if there is exactly 1 credit leftover you will have to change your plans to use up that orphan credit. A couple of possibilities:
-move LeCellier to a different day and plan a 1 credit meal for your switch over day as sharonabe suggested.

-you could save a credit from an earlier meal. If someone isn't very hungry and just wants a little something you could have that person pay OOP for just an app. Or if 2 adults aren't very hungry they could use 1 credit to share a meal as long as it isn't a buffet, AYCTE venue, fixed price meal where everyone is charged or Via Napoli (the one TS restaurant that does not allow sharing when using dining credits).

If you save a point from a previous meal by sharing or paying OOP, that would give you 6 credits from the 1st stay for 3 meals and you would use the other 4 credits from your 2nd stay for the remaining 2 meals. Just make sure to tell your server that you have a split stay and need to use the remaining credits first. CHECK your receipt and if it is not correct, go to GS to have it fixed.

You will NOT be able to combine one credit from each room account to pay for a single 2-credit meal. Both credits must come from the same room account. If you can fix it so that some members of your party are using credits from room account 1 and the rest are using credits from room account 2, then you can do it, but that's harder with an odd number and also depends on the combination of adult/child credits.
