We'll be splitting our stay between the WL concierge and the Polynesian concierge. Our reservations have two different ressie #s and I realize that we'll have to check out of the WL then check into the Polynesian. But how will our park tickets work? Will we have to get new room cards/tickets for the second part of our stay?? I am asking this because we will probably want to leave the WL and go to a park then head back to the Polynesian after lunch, so how will this effect our park tickets?? I haven't bought or ordered tickets yet, so if there are options, I'd like to be aware of them. Will we *HAVE* to check into the Polynesia before going to a park that day?? Thanks!

There is no problem at all. Just get park tickets that are not encoded on your room keys. You can buy your tickets at a Guest Services window at any of the parks and can even pre-order them and pay for them in advance. Your "tickets" will be on a seperate card from your room key.

In the past, you might have purchased tickets from your first resort to be encoded on your room keys. And then purchase tickets, minus check in day, on your room keys of your new resort. But with the new pricing of Magic Your Way tickets, you pay less for each day on longer tickets. So just purchase tickets seperately from your resort room.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to be able to just have one card that would serve as room key, park ticket, and have charging privileges. Oh well.

I was wondering the same thing because when we booked our trip(WL/YC with park tickets attached to room), the CM told me that our park tickets would be on our WL hotel key and when we transferred to the YC, she told me something, but I forget what? I think she said that the park tickets will still be on the WL room keys that I can keep with me. I think, perhaps, the YC can transfer the remaining days to their room keys when we check in there. I'm not worried; I'm sure the YC concierge won't leave me without park tickets.

If they do encode your park tickets on your first room key, you will still keep that one as your ticket, even when you get a new room key.

This happened to us several years ago, I had a four day pass that I was upgrading to a 5 day and my friend had to buy his pass. We checked into GF for one night before joining my family at POR and they put our passes on our GF room keys, so all week we just kept checking the dates on the cards, so we knew our keys from our passes.
