Split Stay Question

We are booked into a preferred site for a week next Christmas (2021) in a rented RV and are thinking of adding a week of vacation at another Disney resort but we will not have a car.

So our question is, does anyone know if Disney will transport our luggage to another resort from the Fort and if they will store our luggage between FW check out and check-in time at another Disney resort?

Before Covid they would have transported to the new resort. During the early stages of Covid I believe they suspended this kind of service. I am not sure if they have brought it back yet, or if by then they will have.
I do not know if they would store it, there is not a lot of room at the Fort check in building.

Worst case scenario, grab a ride share to the new resort. Won't cost but a few bucks. New resort should store your luggage.

Our luggage was transferred between resorts, so I would think that it would work the same way at the Fort.

When we arrived at the new room, we called bellservices and they brought it up. Remember to tip

The fort has luggage storage at bell services just like the other resorts. It is around the side of the check in building. It's kind hidden if you don't know to look for it. We used it when we stayed in a cabin and were departing on magical express later in the day.
