I recently returned from my first split stay. When we left the first resort I had the luggage transferred to the next one and went directly to a breakfast reservation. When we were done, I had to pay for the meal because my dining plan for the next reservation wasn't working yet because I hadn't checked into the resort yet. I did complete the online check in prior to leaving on vacation. It was 8 o'clock in the morning. Was this a system error, or do you have to physically check in to get the dining plan to be active? I have another split stay in May and don't want a repeat of this problem! It's kind of a hassle to have to check in before doing anything else just to get the dining plan to work!
