Split stay question

We are booked Sept 1-6 at the Beach Club through a TA. We decided to drive down a day early and spend Monday night at Pop. We've never stayed there and want to check it out as a potential resort for family vacation 2016.

How will making a reservation at Pop show up in MDE? Right now I made our BC reservations so it's on my MDE. Should I have my husband make the Pop reservation in his name so it will be on his MDE? I'm not sure what happens with MDE when you have a spilt stay. Does it show both? Or just the first one until it's over then shows the second?

We won't have any tickets linked to the Pop reservation. I want to be sure I can make my FP selections when they open because I have 2 day tix linked to the BC stay. If adding Pop will screw that up then maybe it should go in husbands name? And I'll have 2 sets of magic bands right? I've never done a split and this will also be my first time dealing with FP+. Last time we went were paper FP.

Both reservations should show up on your MDE if not just use the add reservation link and add it yourself. You can then make one day's worth of reservations at T60 via the Pop reservation and then the next day you can make the other two days via the Beach Club reservation. They don't "link" on MDE so they will be two separate reservations.

Using your husbands MDE won't change anything as far as I know ?

But I won't make any FP reservations with the Pop stay because I don't have tickets linked to that stay. Is that right? FP reservations can only be made with tix linked to the stay? Or is that wrong?

The tickets are linked to your MDE not your resort stay. You can make a days worth of reservations starting at T60 from your Pop stay but not more days than the length of stay or the length of your park ticket.
