if I do a split stay... is that all on one reservation or will they have to do 2 reservations?

I believe I have always had two reservation numbers for my split stays. Someone can correct if my recollection is wrong. On all but one trip, we got tix separately from undercover tourist, which were just added to our room keys/KTTW cards. Have fun!

You will have 2 separate reservations.

You will have 2 separate reservations, and pay 2 deposits. If you aren't planing in adding the dining plan, I would book them as room only, and buy your tickets from Undercover Tourist. And adding dining plan for split stays is tricky if you want it for both resorts because of ticket requirements. Not cost effective.

Yes, 2 separate reservations. And if you're taking DME, you'll get two separate set of documents. Be prepared when you get to MCO and go thru DME, they'll comment on the fact that you have no return reservation and ask you if you want to make one now. That's what happens to me all the time (I love split stays). Just tell them it's a split stay, and everyone will be fine.

I would like to throw a wrench in this.

My ILs are doing a triple split stay during our upcoming trip, while we are only changing resorts once. I received our documents a couple weeks ago and everything pertains (as I expected) to just the Pop Century (package) part of our reservation. We booked AKL room only, so didn't receive anything for that. I booked online.

My MIL, however, called to book and her documents are different. Even though they are also switching resorts, their package info shows the dates for the entire stay--not just the first resort. So I am wondering if the CM at the call center linked her reservations together or something? I had never heard of this.

We once did a split stay within the same hotel. The first couple of nights were room only in GF SugarLoaf, and then a week at RPC with package (dining and tickets). We had two different reservations and I figured because one was room and the other a package.

When we arrived, we were upgraded from SL to RPC. I thought we would stay in the same room because were supposed to be in RPC for the next wee, but we had to check out and check in again. We were actually better off because we were also upgraded from a standard RPC to a deluxe RPC.
