Split Stay Question- Poly Pool

Still new to DVC with only 2 stays under our belts and have our first split stay coming up in March. We are staying 5 nights at Saratoga and 2 nights at Poly. To try and maximize our time at the Poly resort our plan was to wake up early on our check out/check in day and take an Uber to Poly for a pool day. Even though we won't have a room ready at Poly (but we have mobile checked in already) will our magic bands allow us into the Poly pool area (I think that resort you need to scan to get in but have only walked the grounds once)? As long as you are checking-in that day or checking-out that day, you have pool access. The magic band wont update until your room is ready though. Just explain your situation to a front desk CM when you arrive.

Just go to front desk and they will give you a card to scan at pool entrance.

I did this on Fourth of July when we switched from Bay Lake to Poly. Dressed for a pool day, had bell services pick up my suitcase, then hopped monorail over to Poly. Will be a little more involved this year since I am going from BLT to Riviera on the 4th
