Split stay question/loosing 1 nite deposite

We have ressie at POFQ for 2 nights and then we have to move to the All star sports for the rest of our stay since there is no rooms open with an AP discount or at rack rate. I have been calling every morning with no luck. I called the POFQ to ask if the day I check in if they have any room opening for a few more days she said that I can stay and pay the difference. Which is fine but mt question is, Would I loose my 1 night deposite at the all star sports because its a change made within 5 days.
As of now I'm at POFQ 8-5th till 8-7 and the 7th-16th at All star sp.
I would like 8-10th at POFQ and 10th-16th at the all star
Any advise

No, you shouldn't have to lose your deposit. What you would probably want to do is instead of extend your original POFQ reservation, you would want to modify your All Star Sports reservation, changing it to POFQ. So technically, you would check out and back in at POFQ on 8/7. But this all assumes POFQ doesn't open up before you hit your 5 day window.
