Split stay Port Orleans and BLT - any potential problems?

Hi I'm looking for advice. We have 10 days at BLT coming up in May. To get a good flight deal we arrive a day early and have booked one night at port Orleans.

I've received separate magic bands, separate MME luggage tags and vouchers, and now I'm wondering if everything will go smoothly when we change resorts. Seems like regular disney hotels and DVC don't share much information. Seems like it is being treated as two separate trips.

Any advice or things to watch for?

Split stays are always treated as separate trips, no matter which resorts are involved. You can use both sets of MBs interchangeably so no worries there. Put your POR ME tags on the bags and they will show up there no problems. On move day, just take your bags to bell services and ask that they be moved to BLT. Go about your day and then check-in at BLT in the afternoon. Your bags should arrive around 4 or so.

Thanks. We are arriving a bit later on the first night so we aren't using the MME tags to ensure we have the luggage before 11pm.

I don't seem to be able to use online check in for both reservations. Regardless of which one I select I can only do the online check in for the POR.

If you are within 60 days, you should be able to do both. Try www.mydisneyreservation.com and put in your conf number for your BLT stay.

We moved from Pop to SSR with no issues.

Last Nov., DH and I spent a night at POFQ after our SSR stay. We didn't experience any difficulty with the split.
