Split Stay @ Poly then CSR or AKL?

We are planning on splitting our stay this trip (May). We are going to spend 4 nights at POLY and 4 nights at either AKL or CSR. We have two kids (1 and 6) and would like to hear some thoughts on where to stay other then POLY.

We are staying 2 nights at the AKL and 2 nights at thePoly. Then 5 nights at the BWV. I have never tried the CSR. They have conventions there I think.

We are doing a split stay in May as well....9 nights Poly then 6 at AKL, since my son LOVES animals and the theming is so unique!

You may be disappointed in going from a Deluxe to a Moderate
I'd recommend AKL - it is fabulous and a great resort to wind down a busy Disney vacation

I thought I would be disappointed going from deluxe (Poly Conc.) to moderate (CSR) also - But, NOT at all! CSR is a great resort - like a Deluxe Lite. The pool is fantastic - HUGE, especially after the Volcano pool, which I think is very small. They have a great kids pool & play area. I highly recommend CSR to people.

I am in love with AKL after a visit there for dinner & chose it to celebrate my 40th in this coming April.

I don't think you can go wrong with either option. Just don't rule out CSR because it's a mod. It's really fantastic.
