Split Stay-Not linked

So we are moving our arrival day up which means we need to do a split stay. We would like to keep the reservations separate and not link them if at all possible. How can we get Disney to move our bags from one location to the next?

We've never bothered to "link" our reservations and it's never been a problem. Just take the bags to bell services (or have them come and pick them up) and ask them to deliver them to your next resort.
