Split stay--how to move luggage?

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked to death, but this is the first time we are thinking of splitting our stay and I can't seem to remember where I thought I read this before.

We would be staying one night at WL or AKL and then moving over to BCV (renting members points). Will Disney arrange for our luggage to be moved or is this going to be a big hassle for us?

Nope just call or take your bags to Bellservices at Wl or AKL and let them know where your going and they will move them for you .Now it may take a few hours for the transfer but other then that not a problem at all.Just remember to Tip all that touch bag in your presence but it's worth it to not have to take a cab or 2 buses with the bags.

We did this last week from POP to CBR and it was a piece of cake. I called luggage services the day before and they asked for a time and the number of pieces (everything counted, even a case of soda). That was kind of tough because I hadn't packed yet, so the next morning I called again to change the number.

We just left the bags in the room and they picked them up from there.

When we got to our room at CBR, they arrived shortly after. They said they would be there by 3pm, and it was a little after that. DH had gone to the lobby to pick up a package I had left there when I checked in, and they put him in the van and brought him back to the room with the luggage.

We did make the mistake of just putting the dirty clothes in a garbage bag, which got ripped a little in the transfer. They apologized for it (though I considered it more my fault) and even offered to bring me a new garbage bag (I didn't need it, I had packed plenty).

usually bag transfers are between 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Bell Services will store the bags and then usually do the transfer between 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
