Split Stay Help

We are thinking of doing a split stay on our next vacation, the first four nights at Pop and the last six nights renting DVC points at a Deluxe. I have several questions.

1. We will want the DDP for both parts of the trip. But if I buy the tickets for the first portion and extend it for the entire length of the trip, can I actually get the Dining Plan for the second portion? I always thought it had to be part of a package.

2. it’s my understanding that all of the credits of the first leg of the trip have to be completely used up before the ones from the second can start. So, as soon as I use them all up, the second batch of credits will be available as long as I’m checked in for the second resort, right?

3. Can I book all of my ADRs for the entire trip from the 180 mark of the first part of the trip or will I have two ADR days? Is Fast Pass the same as well?

Sorry for all the questions. I’m just a novice when it comes to this.

1. It’s called a ticketless package. Yes you can still get the dining plan even though you don’t have tickets on part 2 of your stay.

2. The day you move can be dicey, expect to spend a bit of time at the front desk to fix things. It won’t automatically see that you’ve used all your credits and switch over. It could switch you over before you’re done or you could be done and still waiting on the new credits to appear but it can be fixed.

3. ADR you will have to book separately for each leg. FP you can book all at once.

Dining credits are good until midnight of check out day. DVC reservations do not require park tickets in order to book a dining plan.

I forgot about this wrinkle. The DVC owner is actually the one that will add that to the booking, correct? If so, that may simplify that aspect.
