So while looking at airfare, we decided we would fly in a day early, stay at a value resort for one night and then make our way over to POR for the rest of our stay... It ends up being a little cheaper because of a recent promo and we wont miss any time in disney world since we were orginally going to fly in later in the day that we are checking into POR

How would we go about getting from the value to POR with all our stuff?

OR would it be a better ideas to just add a night to our Riverside resort and not have to worry about moving all our stuff.. If we do that can we go the first day with out using our 9 day park tickets since we wont get there until late afternoon we figured we would have diner at DD and just relax..

We are will be traveling with a 2 almost 3 yearold and a 10 month old!!

Thanks for your help in advance :) :)

I've found a cab is a pretty good option ... resort luggage transfers don't happen until 3:00pm

In your specific case I would have to say yes

With a toddler and a baby, I wouldn't recommend a one-night split. If you afford the extra money, book one more night at POR and save yourself the hassle of having to move the next morning.

We always get in at night and have debated spending the 1st night at a value to save money, but haven't tried it because we are generally tired after flying all day. I have to say I've never regretted not having to move that first morning. It's nice to get settled and be ready to go first thing the next day. And I'm a big fan of split-stays in general (but 3-4 nights at minimum).

As for the how-to -- you would pack your bags and check out of resort #1, give the bags to bell services and ask them to move them to resort #2. Then you could go visit a park and then go to resort #2 at check-in time. The bags arrive after 3pm. Alternately, you can take a taxi with your luggage and move it that way.

Thanks for your help! i think ill just book an extra night at riverside and save the time and aggravation :)
