SPlit stay = have to call a second time to make ADRs for second half of stay???

We booked a split stay for early January (2 nights at one resort, 8 at another) and I was all set to make ADRs for our stay in a couple of days. I just called to confirm the date to call and I was told that we can only make ADRs through Jan 3rd (the day we are checking out of the first hotel) on the 90 day mark, and then have to call back 2 days later to make the rest of the reservations. Is this true? I'm afraid that the split stay is going to cost us a whole bunch of ADRs Other members of our group are staying the whole time in one resort, but there is absolutely no way that they will get up to call or go online.

At 90 days out, I used the on-line reservation for a split-stay trip in late December. When I inputted my reservation number (the first of the two reservations), the system gave me access to my check in date + 10 days after that, and allowed me to make all reservations with only that particular reservation #.

I think it depends on who you talk to. I have a split stay, 3 nights at one followed by 9 at the next.

When I called to make reservations at the 90 day mark for my first part of the stay, I was able to book for the 10 days out rather than just for the duration of the first stay. When I called back to book another one later, same thing. All my reservations for dining are tied to my first reservation number, none to the second.

If they say that you can't, very nicely ask them to please try and it is possible that they will be able to get you your reservations for the ten days.
