Searched but can't find an answer? My FP+ window opens in a few days and I am doing a split stay at 3 different DVC resorts over a 9 day period. Will making my FP choices be like ADRs where I will have 3 different dates to make selections? Or could I do all 9 days at once? I have an AP if that makes a difference. TIA!

I'll be interested to hear how this works out for you. My understanding of fp+ is that you can book for the length of your park tickets regardless of how many days your room reservation is for. But ap's are limited to 7 days. So, my guess is you'll be able to book at least 7 days of fp+. But you'd probably have better luck over in the theme park forum.

Thanks, I wasn't sure where I should ask. I figure somebody else has been in this situation before! :)

We did an nine day/eight night split stay in June on an AP. I was able to book all nine days of FP+ on the first day the window opened.

The seven day rule for AP booking of FP+ applies only when you don't have an on-property stay booked. This allows locals or day trippers to book FP+ on their AP, at the thirty day mark. When you are staying on property and have the stay linked to your MDE app, you are indeed able to book more than seven days, beginning 60 days out from your arrival date.

I agree with the others - you shouldn't have a problem, at least in the short term.

I've been told that the system first looks to see if you have an on-site reservation. Length doesn't matter - it could be for only one night. Then the system allows you to make FP+ selections for as many days as you have admission. (However, there is a limit for APs/PAPs, I think it is 7 days, but not entirely sure about that).

This may change to stop people from making on-site reservations they don't intend to use. There are reports of guests making a one night reservation (often for a campsite) to make FP+ selections at 60 days. Either they cancel the on-site reservation after that or don't use it. (This is very upsetting to the regular campers who cannot get campsites due to that practice. I suspect they are vociferously complaining).

Thanks for the help! I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure out which way to plan before I realized someone here would know! :)
