Coming up on 60 days. I have a onenight room res. For Sat. 10/24 then a package for 6 nights Sunday to Saturday. ( free dining)
Will my 60 days be from the sat. Res. Or from the Sunday res. ?

Unless something has changed recently you'll be able to book for your entire stay when your earliest 60 day window opens up as long as both reservations are in MDE and there is no gap between them
I'm confused. How would the OP be able to book for 10/24 at all when their package starts on 10/25? They don't have tickets associated with the 10/24 stay.

Sorry, I missed the fact that the tickets are part of a FD package. With a package your tickets generally do not show up in MDE until the 60 day point from the beginning of the package. Once that happens at midnight of 60 days before checking in for your package stay the tickets will show up in MDE. At that time you will be able to book FP+ for any days between then and the end of your stay (limited to the number of valid ticket days you have). In your case OP, this means at midnight as the date turns to August 26 you should be able to book FP+ for days up to and including Oct 31 (which is your check out date if my math is correct.)
I know this contradicts what Robo and Siskaren said above, but from experience this is correct. No offense to Robo, whose information I have almost always agreed with, and who is a great resource for all of us on the boards looking for answers.
Unrelated to scheduling your FP+, because your tickets are associated with a package, you will have to pick them and have them activated at Guest Relations before they can be used. As a general rule WDW has let people do that up to three days before the check in date. This early use of package tickets has been the subject of much debate, and many cast members on the phone have said that it can not be done, while many others have said it can. It in practice, I have never heard of a guest being denied that ability when they arrived to pick up the tickets. I hope that helps.
