Can anyone direct me to a specific thread or info page about the ins & outs of doing a split stay? There must be one but I can't seem to find it.

DH & I are thinking about doing one in July '18. Two nights CR & 6 nights at BWI. We aren't AP holders & would want to do a package w/ tix & park hoppers on both & maybe dining pkg on the BWI part of the stay. Would it be 2 different reservations as far as our park tix are concerned? I know the more days you stay the less your park tix cost later in your stay (days 1&2 cost more than days 6&7 for example) but if it's on 2 different ressies then we're paying the higher price on tix twice right?

If someone could just point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it!!!

Definitely get 8 days worth of tickets on your first leg.

There isn’t any such thread per se, that I am aware of.
“Split Stays “ is an Internet term. In Disney’s eyes you have 2 unique reservations. However tickets are not tied to a resort reservation. Locals have tickets, for example. You can buy tickets for as many days as you like and will not pay the higher rate twice.
You are “homeless “ on you change day. You need to pack up and checkout by 11AM and you likely will not have your next room until 3 or after.
Disney will move your luggage for you, but it is done in the afternoon and is generally available between 4 and 5.
What other questions do you have?
