Never having done this, I seek the advice of others who may have split their resort stay between two resorts. Because Soaps Weekend is so busy (CM said every deluxe resort is 100% full over that weekend), we had to split our stay in November. The first two nights at the Yacht Club (11/7 - 11/9 water view) and then the second two nights at the Boardwalk Inn (11/9 - 11/11 water view). How are the "logistics" of this? How was the transfer of luggage between the hotels" Will I get a new room card for the second hotel or will they just re-program the info on the original card?

Thank you to all!

Randy this is not bad at all. It's about a 10minute walk from the YC to the BWI. When you check out of the YC make sure to tell the bell man that your are transfering the the BWI, he/she will take it from there. You lougage will be at the BWI by 3pm. Also you will have to check out of the YC and check into the BWI and get issued new cards. It's actually quite a simple move.

Have a great trip.

No stress move - as advised by other posted make sure you advise the bellhops and they will tag your luggage and have it moved

Note you need to be in the room at BWI to get your luggage into the room - also if I recall the luggage may not show up until late afternoon

Thanks

Since it's so convenient, I would probably just take my luggage myself across the lake on the boat and ask the Boardwalk to store it for you until check - in.
