Split Stay And Transferring Luggage

As much time as I spend on these boards, I can't for the life of me remember the answer to this. I plan on us doing a split stay, AKL and BC. Will they transfer our luggage from one resort to the other or will I have to lug it myself when I check out of ALK?

They will transfer it for you. Call the bell desk at AKL the day you leave and they will pick up the luggage in your room. When you get to BC, just mention the luggage transfer when you check in and they'll deliver your luggage to your room. Easy!

They won't guarantee your luggage getting to the new resort before 4pm. Thats the only drawback. Because of that we've always moved our luggage ourselves. If you can't move it yourself because you don't have a car I'd at least pack swimsuits in a backpack that way if you want to swim before your luggage has arrived you can do so. Plus anything you know that you will need. One thing I like about Values is they will put the luggage in your room even if you aren't there. With deluxes you have to call bell services to get it. Where its all about the tip.
