split stay and ticket question

If I decide to stay several days at POP and then switch over to POLY for a few days but want dining/tickets throughout, what is the cheapest way to do it?

Can I buy tickets and dining for more days than I'm staying at POP and then "carry them over" to my POLY days? Or do I have to buy the tickets on poly days too?

You can buy enough days tickets with your POP stay to carry over into your Poly stay. The problem is the DDP. If you want it during your Poly stay you will have to purchase at least one days park tickets to be able to purchase the DDP. When we did a split we found it was just easier and cheaper to pay OOP for food after we moved to the second resort. Therefore just booking a "room only" ressie at the second resort.
