Split stay and groceries

I am contemplating a split stay for our upcoming December trip...4 nights in a Royal Room at POR followed by 3 nights at AoA.
We will have groceries delivered from Garden Grocer with milk, waters, bread, yogurts, etc. What happens to those items when you switch resorts? Does Disney take care of perishables for you? Or would it be better to take a cab the morning of our split?

You can put all cold stuff in 1 sealed box and they will refrig it for you.

No. We've done it many times. You need to separate frozen, fridge and regular into separate bags. I use the paper or plastic grocery bags the groceries originally came in.
