I was just wondering if there was any way to do a split stay at two resorts and to get the dining plan without having to buy two separate packages. My Dfi and I want to spend a few nights at the GF for our honeymoon but dont think we can afford to spend the whole trip there and were thinking about staying at POR for the rest but it would not be worth it if we have to pay for the package twice

You do need to book 2 seperate packages for split stays. There is no way around it. To get the dining plan you would need (for example if you were staying 10 days)

Grand Floridain : 5 nights + 10 day ticket + 5 days of dining
Port Orleans : 5 nights + 1 day ticket + 5 days of dining

You can carry over the 10 day tickets to your Port Orleans stay BUT in order to get the dining plan you have to book at least 1 day tickets for both of you.

No, there is not. Each reservation is its own 'entity'.

You could book the Magic Your Way package with the Dining Plan for the GF part of your stay; get tickets that cover your entire visit (ticket days are not tied to room nights); get a room-only reservation at the second resort, and just pay for any food you order. You can even prepay that, to a degree, by purchasing a Disney Gift Card.
