I am not sure this is the best place to post, but figured my DVC expert family would know which types of advance reservations can be booked across a split stay:
1. Dining?
2. Enchanting Extras/Tours/etc.?
3. LLMP?

I think I read that it is only bucket 3, is that correct?

Also, is there anything I can book and should be thinking about booking before the 60 day window?

Thank you!

I can confirm yes on #3. I know dining is a no. Not sure on #2.
Thank you so much-- it's SO weird that they link it together for purposes of LLMP but not dining-- seems like it should all code the same in MDE. I knew dining didn't link previously but was really hoping it might have changed once they started linking for LLMP. Le sigh.

The rules for LLMP is up to 14 days, or length of ticket and that doesn’t have to match the stay at the resort.

That is why it’s different. You can have a two night resort stay with a 6 days tickets and LLMP would be available for it all.

For dining, it’s specific to length of stay at the Disney resort. It’s no longer the plus 10 it used to be…and thus the difference.

So you’re saying if someone is an AP, and has one night at a DVC resort, they could book 7 days out for 14 days? 1746860799395.png

Technically yes, But AP holders without hotel reservations can only hold so many park reservations at one time if no hotel reservation.

So, they’d need park reservations to be able to purchase LL and that is what limits it.

But, if you have a date based ticket that doesn’t require those reservations, it’s possible for sure.

This is also why they changed the cancellation date for cash stays to be 8 days for room only.

LLMP for resort stays is limited to length of resort reservation including checkin and checkout days. So at 7 days from checkin, someone with a one-night reservation can book 2 days of LLMP. Someone with a longer resort reservation can book up to the number of days their tickets cover, up to 14 days, if their resort reservation is that long (many guests coming from UK and other international locations stay that long or longer). So someone with a 7-night resort reservation but only 5 days of tickets can book only 5 days of LLMP, but an AP could book up to 8 days (including checkout day).

In addition, an AP can also book the number of days their APs entitle them to for days when they’re staying offsite, but only 3 days before each day.

This is not quite accurate. If you have a 5 day ticket and only 3 days of resort nights, you can book up to the number of days on your ticket.

I know people who have indeed done some one site before leaving and still booked all LL days for their stay starting 7 days out because they had a resort stay.

The resort stay unlocks the advance booking but the ticket length is what determines how many days in a row can be booked.

ETA: I should clarify. people I know who did this has 4 nights on site and 3 nights off with a 7 day ticket.

I have also had clients who were able to unlock all days of their trips when offsite that matched ticket length once they hit 3 days from the start of the ticket.

ETA2: there are some restrictions for those with non based tickets and how many they can book at a time…so, there can be unique situations that might work differently.

So my scenario: I have an upcoming split stay totaling 14 nights across two DVC resorts. I’m also AP. So I should be able to book LLMP 7 days in advance for all 14 days?
