Split Stay Affect on 90+10?

I have a 1-night, room-only ressie on property on August 15. I then have a Free Dining Package starting August 16-23. I assume this means I can make at least 1 ADR on May 17 (90 days out), but can I make all of them per the 90+10 rule? Or do I need to wait until May 18th to make the rest?

You should be able to (I have a split stay and was able to book past my first ressie, although I'm staying 9 nights on first, 9 nights on second at same hotel). Your miles may vary by CM, so if the first one won't help you call back. If they say they can't, say you know someone else who was able to and could they "PLEASE try it". No harm in trying it

I have the same situation, except I am arriving on 8/14/09. I am going to try on Saturday to make my ressies. I hope I can!!!

My ressies are both at POP:

8/7-8/16 - Military Discount
8/16-8/25- Free Dining

I've been able to book dining up to and including 8/20 (I have to call for 8/21 today- but it's not one I'm worried about having to do at 9am) - I'll call this evening. I have encountered one person who wouldn't book for me and a few who gave me a hard time until I said can you please just check. One woman appologized three times to me and said - Boy I wish they would tell us these things.

We are doing the exact same split with the same dates too. What a riot!!
To assure those going to do this, I called a couple weeks ago about this 90-days ADR thing. The CM told me that as long as that I am staying on-site and has valid resort reservation, the 90-days +10 will apply.

It's definitely CM-specific, because others have reported that they were told the system would not let them do it. So as someone already said, if they say no, just call back later and see if a different CM will do it.

Is it possible that the others were staying on-site but at Swan/Dolphin? I know that even though these hotels are on-site but they aren't Disney owned; therefore, the 90+ doesn't apply to them. Just a thought.

I was told no by 1 cm when making my split stay adr's this week.I just called back and got a different cm and I am staying at pop.

I was just going to post the same exact question. I have a split stay in August -- 8/13-8/16 at the Treehouse Villas and 8/16-8/21 at Kidani Village. I too have received mixed responses from the CMs that I spoke with. Most said that I would not be able to book beyond the checkout date of the first reservation due to the new system (it's because the new system recognizes you as checking out -- this is how it was explained to me). However some said it would not be a problem and some said they have sometimes been able to do it and sometimes have not. I told them I hoped they were working on a fix for this -- we'll see if anything changes

It sounded to me like some CMs had never had this happen and would not know what to do if it did. Perhaps for those who have experienced it before they have figured out a way "around" this glitch. I agree with other posters who said to just call back and get someone else. Also, a tip I received from a CM I spoke with is to ask to be transferred to Guest Services -- apparently they can override things the regular dining CMs cannot. Again, this was only what I was told but it can't hurt to try.

We'll see how I do on Friday -- hoping I can get everthing done at once.

We are staying 7/17 to 7/19 at POP then 7/19 to 7/25 at BCV and we could NOT book all our ressies at the same time. Tried two different CM's and still couldn't do it due to the computer system. Although we were staying on property the entire time it counted us as checking out on the 19th and made me call back two days later to finish our 7/20 to 7/25 reservations. Extremely frustrating but luckily we ended up getting all of our times and restaurants Good luck!!

I just asked about this yesterday. I had to make a slight change to our plans and then asked the CM about this. We are staying 4 nights at PC, then 4 nights at YC. He checked and said that I had to call in twice, 90 days out from each resort's reservation dates. I took this as gospel, so thanks to you guysI will definitely try to book all 8 nights on the first reservation-90 days out.

Our dates are 8/23-8/26 @ PC, 8/26-8/30 @ YC.

I am still calling daily and adding on extra days. So far no trouble. I have another one to add on today for 8/22. Hang in there and keep calling.

I called this morning and was able to make all my ressies for our entire stay

When I talked to the regular CM she was only able to make the ressies for the first part of my stay. But then I called guest services, as suggested to me, and they were able to make the rest. I even got a Fantasmic package!

Also - not since the one day when I had someone tell me no on adding on the daily ADR's I need, have I had a problem. Everyone has been fine on adding. I have one more today and one more tomorrow and I'm done unless I tweak!
