Looking into DVC rental for our last trip before our APs expire.
Thinking of Beach Club and Wilderness Lodge.
Dates are April 7-18. How would you split it?
I was thinking Beach Club first for 7 nights. I like the idea of a leisurely stay there with lots of pool time, walking to Epcot for dinner or HS for F!. DS is also getting into Star Wars and he really liked HS last week.
So then we'd switch on April 14th which is a Saturday. I like switching on a Saturday because parks are more crowded so we may not do a park at all that day.
So then it would be 4 nights at Wilderness Lodge and would do more MK time and maybe AK or a waterpark.
Of course would need to do some MK in first week.
If staying at BC is it convenient to walk to Epcot, tour there a bit then monorail to MK?
Seems more enjoyable than the bus..
Does that split sound good or should I try and make it more even?
We've never stayed at either place!

Sounds like a great split. BC is very convenient to browse around Epcot and eventually make your way over to MK. Anytime we don't have to take a bus is great news for my family. I would keep everything the same!

Sounds like a good split.

Taking the monorail from the BC to the MK is not as quick or convenient as taking the bus, but if you are spending time in Epcot first, it is fine. I wouldn't do it as a transportation option to avoid the bus, however. the bus isn't that bad and walking through Epcot and then taking 2 monorails to the MK will take about an hour, at least.
