I'm leaving for WDW this upcoming Sunday. We have a split ressie. We're starting off at BCV and then switching over to VWL - which is my absolute favorite DVC resort. Should I try BCV or change my reservation to stay at VWL for our entire stay? I should also mention that we're staying at WDW for 1 week, and then doing the DCL 4 day cruise, and then returning to VWL for 3 days. So, we'll have alot of time at VWL. I just know how much we love it there. What should I do? Should I give BCV a try?

the choice is obviously yours, but I enjoy splitting vacations at different resorts...different places to go, things to do. From your past vacations it looks like you do as well.

We've tried three homes so far and although I do love VWL, our home, we're staying at BCV and VB this fall to try them out. We stayed at BC two years ago on cash in a regular room and loved it, so this will be a treat. We enjoy the Epcot entry and the night life over there.....weren't thrilled with the BW resort and probably won't stay there now that there's BCV. Everybody likes different things, this is just one opinion... hope it helps.

I say give it a try. We were all set for VWL in October, but switched to BCV. With VWL as one of our home resorts, I know that we'll be staying there again. I don't know how the 7 month window will work out for BCV in the future.

On the other hand, you're doing a lot of moving which could be a hassle.

Decisions, decisions.............;)

Stay at the Beach Club. We just got back from nine heavenly nights at the BCV and absolutley loved the resort.

Normally I would hate to switch resorts during a vacation....too much of a hassle to pack/unpack twice.

But it sounds like you have to pack up anyway to go on the cruise. So I think you might enjoy splitting time between BCV and VWL if it doesn't entail more packing and unpacking.

I know that's not a big deal to some, but when we go we drive and we tend to overpack! I'm just thinking of the food, clothes, souvenirs, etc.

Have a wonderful trip!
