Split reservation- do I need to change rooms?

Hi!
I have a reservation directly through Disney to stay at Port Orleans Riverside for $107/night.
I just saw rates on Travelocity for $85/night- but they only have this rate for the first 4 nights of our 5 night trip.

I'm considering reserving the first four nights through Travelocity, and then the final night directly with Disney.

I guess this would be a "split reservation"? If I have a split reservation, do you think they would require me to change rooms, even though both reservations would be for PO Riverside?

I appreciate any comments from anyone who has done this before, or who just knows how this works.

Thanks,
Danielle

I don't think you would have to....when you check in tell them that you have 2 different reservations. You will still have to go to the front desk on the checkout/in day and do the paperwork & get a new parking pass for the car window, but I think you can stay in the same room. I did this in June, I had PO-FQ for the first 7 nights and then I was suppose to switch over to the AS-Sports for the next 4 nights. Upon check in I asked if I could just stay there the entire trip. They canceled my AS-Sports ressie & re-booked it as PO-FQ but on the "original" check out day, I still had to go to the front desk to check out then back in...and we kept the same room.... :)

I can't sem to get any Disney Hotels to pull up on Travelocity when I do search??/ Any tips??/ How did you find POR on Travelocity???

Hi!
The way I found it on Travelocity:
When I got to their first homepage, I put in a search for Hotel Only, and for the "City/Airport", I put "Disneyworld".
A few hotels came up- none of them being POR.
On the left of the page now, it has an option to Modify Search and it has a space for "Hotel Name Contains"
In that spot, I wrote "Port Orleans Riverside"- and you'll see it come up!
One problem: I called them last night because it wasn't allowing me to book the hotel online. The person I spoke to said I need to call back and speak with someone from their Disney group (from Travaelocity that plans Disney trips), and they weren't there last night (I called at around 11pm). He did tell me, also, that they can't book the hotels unless you also buy "tickets" through Travelocity as well. I don't know exactly what he meant my tickets, but maybe it's a Silver/Gold package, but not sure. I haven't had a chance to call them back yet today. I'll post here when I know more.
