Is splash mountain closed for refurbishment every Jan.? I have made plans to go in Jan this year and went in Jan last year each time splash mountain has been closed for the entire month of Jan. It's my favorite ride and I seem to never get to go on it.

there was a time a few years ago when thunder was down and they left splash open in jan

Yes, 2012 (my first solo trip), BTMRR was closed for a lengthy refurb and they left Splash open that year. From all the historical data I've seen, it has otherwise been closed for January every year for several years now.
