Splash Mountain Rehab????

Hey Got Quattro? What kind of quattro you goto?

My DH just got for me a brand new Audi A8L for my birthday....just saw your homepage so I know you love Audis. I love love love that car. I call it the Batmobile ;)

BTW...I know it stinks to have SM down for anyone's visit.. It really really needs it though. I looked at the rehab schedule. Maybe it will not be down during that time. They have Ice Station Cool ad being refurbished...but then I read a post that it may be open in Nov...So maybe you will be surprised :flower:

And Got Quattro, you should be nicer to others!

Sorry that SM will be down for some people's visits, but when we rode it a few weeks ago I noticed something on the ride that was either torn, or missing or something. Can't remember exactly what it was. I just remember thinking "Wow, that is something pretty obvious not to get fixed". Of course, the problem may just have happened, but I guess maybe the time comes just got to shut it down and fix all the odds and ends that need some TLC.

A6 - I was being nice.
Sorry, there are some habbits on this board (not the people) that just wear on me. Have patience people. Most of you have 6 - 12 month to find your answers :)

I know what you mean. There was a post not that long ago about people posting questions that are really irksome. Most of the annoying questions are related to trips planned in a year, or the weather, or the commando overplanners, you get the idea...questions for a crystal ball. If that is not your style.....and it is definately not mine either, just do what I do and ignore the post and find something of interest to you. I have to agree, some posts are inane, but some people may find my posts equally annoying. That is the beauty of boards like these...there is an answer for every question and someone always understands someone else's question. you also have to understand many people scrimp and save all year to make WDW happen for their family...so if they obsess over the minute details it is understandable. I am just not the person to answer that type of question..so I move on to my type of post like "the grossest thing you have ever seen at WDW" or "how to spend the most amount of money in the least amount of time" post. Now that's great reading for me:rotfl2: . The beauty of the disboards is there is a lid for every pot :wizard:

A6 - nice car

The only problem I have with mine is the trunk lid has a mind of it's own :earseek:

Most folks wait a day before they bump. And most folks can communicate this in a nice way.

But does it really matter? This board has been terrific. I hope we don't decide who has a valid post and who doesn't. This place could get pretty lame....

To my knowledge, and we have ridden SM many, many times, there is no single rider line.

It might be case that as you stand in the boarding area, they may ask if there are any parties of 1, but not a separate line.

you could be right, i'm thinkin' because the ride vehicles are different the WDW version may not have a single riders line. It seems the vehicles are never full at DL because of uneven parties.

It does stink, but the ride is in bad need of a refurb. Last time we were there, we noticed that the animatronics don't even sync up with the audio anymore, fur is coming off b'rer bear's butt and you can't hear the frog talking in the line.

oh, and BUMP!!!!

best criteria for a rehab I've heard in a while :rotfl:

A friend who works in attractions was once told by a manager "Sorry, you can't use that particular (ride) vehicle, it doesn't have an engine in it"

If those dates hold true then we will just barely miss the rehab. wow, so we might get to see Splash all spruced up. :)
If they change those dates at all or have a delay reopening it . . . boy, I'm gonna have troubles!!!!!!
My DH was already upset about Test Track, then I had to tell him about Buzz. . . I'd hate to have to break Splash to him!
Oh, the price you pay when you try to avoid crowds and high temps!

Literally! THe whole place smells like a locker room. Maybe they can refurb the mildew stank out of it! :rotfl2:

That said, sounds like it will be open for our stay but Test Track AND Buzz closed?? Big bummer. My 6 yr old will be devastated. Oh well, guess this means we'll have time to introduce him to some new favorites.

I'm pretty new to the board too. This is the first time I have encountered a poster to be so hateful. I thought we were here to help each other not be rude to each other. Sad...very sad! :confused3
We have our share of Grumpys--just like Snow White.
