Splash Mountain Reconfirmed!

After skipping out on Splash mountain our last few trips either because it was too cold ot we didn't want to get fast passes when the lines were too long, my husband and I rode again last week. We went at night, around 8, as Spectromagic was starting at the other side of the park. There was no wait, and we got to enjoy it like never before. It was our first time riding at night, and it was AWESOME!! We had a great view of the park, and we could see some of the parade flashing right before we went over the big falls!! And of course, then we got soaked!
This trip really made me remember why Splash Mountain is one of my favorites in MK!!

I think splash mountain is better at night... seeing the castle lit up and all the other lights .... plus it's a little scarier to me going down that big drop when it's dark out!

Is great at night or day,I think I prefer riding it after dark also Thunder Mountain.

I guess I'll never know what it's like because I just couldn't stand the anticipation of "going over the edge! Rides with drops freak me out!

I prefer it at night as well! Takes that fun little ride to a whole new level of creepiness! LOL

My kids still talk about the time we rode Splash Mountain just as the fireworks were going off. We could not have planned it any better.

I love it at night too - We also had the good fortune to be on SM when the fireworks were going off - What a sight that is from the top of the mountain!
