My kids loves splash mountain and it is their favorite ride. However, we normally go in September, and don't mind the "splash" as it is always so hot out!

This time we are going in winter :scared:. I know the ride will still be operating, but do they do anything to lessen the "Splash" so that the ride can still be enjoyed without being miserable afterwards?

Depending on when you go it may not be open, they do maintenance in winter, it was closed last weekend. But we went on in December and it was the same ride as always and we got wet.

I've never been on Splash myself cause every time we have been in it has been January and it was down for refurb. However I read on easywdw that they do turn off some of the water features in the colder weather and Josh's advise if it was cool out was to stand at the exit for a minute and see how wet the people coming off of the ride are before deciding to ride it.

Gee, I didn't even know people got wet on Splash Mountain. My family never has.
