We're heading to Disney World later this month, and will be there through February 2. Last I looked, the Splash Mountain refurbishment is set to be done on January 30. I'm trying to reserve a Fastpass on either January 31 or February 1, but Splash Mountain is not showing up in the list on either day.

Does anyone know when those Fastpasses will come back into the system? Is this standard protocol when a ride is down for a refurb?

Thanks!

disney is being cautious.
they rather not allow people to book FP+ in case the refurb lasts longer than expected and they don't open the day they are supposed to cuz then people would be very upset and their FP+ would be cancelled and they would have to select a different FP+ option.

i would just suggest that you check daily to see if disney has put splash mountain back into the FP+ options.

Many now reporting 2/1 is reopen date. 1/31 has always been blocked out for FP, even at 60 day mark, but many reported booking FP for 2/1, so a good bet it will be up by then. I'm surprised you can no longer book FP for 2/1 actually.

I'm trying to stay optimistic... The 31st is our last day and we added a day to our tickets to get a half day in MK before our flight.

Thank you everyone for your responses.

Interesting that folks were able to reserve for 2/1, as I could swear we looked while reserving 60 days prior to our trip. We actually logged in at midnight to make sure we were getting in as early as possible (had to land Anna and Elsa for our daughter!).

I'll continue to monitor to see if any come open. And worse case we'll just be making a mad dash when the park opens that morning on Feb 1.

You need to know that there is zero need for a "mad dash" to Splash Mtn. in the mornings.

Often, Splash and BTM can be ridden multiple times within the first 60-120 minutes of park opening time.

Both are fun and popular attractions, but they don't tend to be the first place guests head in the mornings.

This.
Even by noon most haven't made their way around to that side. People walk in to MK and turn RIGHT at the hub. Tomorrowland and 7DMT are people's first hit.

They just cancelled my Splash FP for Jan 1 :(

I assumed you meant Feb 1, so I went to MDE to check mine. I got cancelled too. Time to pick a new attraction, I 'spose. :(

I hope that it opens before I head home late afternoon on the 1st. Maybe I can get on then.

We are going 2/1. We didn't have a FP+, but we were really looking forward to riding it. :sad1: I really hope it still opens on 2/1 and they were just being overly cautious with FP+ just in case.

Boo....was holding out hope for 1/31. Anyone remember if Splash opened a little early last several years during winter refurb?
