Spirit's checked bag fee, is it oneway or rt

I just noticed Spirit's checked bag fee changed again April 14th.
Am I correct to assume the $19 prepaid-online charge is for each way not rt?

Yes it is each way. If you can fly SW they still allow 2 free bags per ticketed passenger.

I love the convenience of flying from ACY, due to where I live ... I love a 15 minute ride to a small airport with short lines and short walks.

And I also love flying to WDW.

So I put up with Spirit's fees. And yes, the fee is in each direction. So if the fee for a first bag is $15 and you are flying round-trip with one suitcase, you will pay $30 in baggage fees for your trip.

In our situation, flying out of Detroit, Southwest has no non-stop flights (which is the only way I will fly) and their connecting flights are $40 more each way. I will pay the Spirit baggage fee to arrive in Orlando in less than 2 1/2 hrs instead of 5-8 hrs, plus save $$$ too!
