Spirit summer flights are low right now

Well, we might be making a trip this summer that we didn't plan on. Last night my wife was checking flights and found round trip airfare out of Detroit to Orlando for $300. This is for 3 people non stop through Spirit. Flights from our local airport for $120 to Sanford but then you factor in car rental or taxi. Not sure how long these flight deals will last but perhaps flights are cheap where you fly out of. You guys might want to check deals in your area if you haven't purchased summer flights yet.

Just make sure to look a the total cost after all the fees and charges to make sure it is the best deal. Hope it does work out as you think it will.

Yes, my wife did that. That actual ticket price listed was $69 but the other fees added up to more. Thanks for the encouragement, now we are just working on finding a great one day car rental to take advantage of these savings.

they had flights into MCO on sale this week for various days next few months in our market for $46 pp RT plus luggage...i almost jumped lol. Do prefer SWA but when the price is right on Spirit & Allegiant and I don't have to worry re cancelled flight re a cruise, etc., have booked them. Only 1 bad experience on Spirit with long delay/cancelled flight since they've come to our area.

Thanks. The trips not set in stone yet. These low cost flights are making it more of a possibility. We've had good luck with allegiant and spirit. Have never flown swa but heard very positive reviews from them as well.
