How about checked bags? Thank you for this info!

The gel-filled ice packs are allowed in checked bags without restriction. Just make sure they are well wrapped so that any "sweating" doesn't get your clothing all wet.

Dry ice has the same restrictions in checked bags (as carry-on); up to 5 lbs allowed in a properly vented and labelled FAA approved container...with the Airlines permission. Generally it's just best to stay away from dry ice in luggage.

We've used "Wegoshop" for our groceries to be delivered to the hotel. She does deliver to the Swolphin. As for items we freeze, we always freeze our bacon and burgers. We don't freeze lunchmeat, though, as we think it changes the texture too much. It all arrives fine after it's long journey.
