we have booked to see this in august.

noticed that due to weather some of these shows are being cancelled for the next few days.

do you think it is taking a chance to book in august, as i believe it rains in the evenings?

Hi,
We went last August, and the night of our booking, it started tipping it down about 5pm! I rang the booking line, and they said they would be making a decision at 6pm; so I rang then. They then said they hadn't decided, and to ring in half an hour. I kept ringing, because they couldn't make up their minds, and finally about 7.30 they said they were going ahead, even though it was still raining.(but not too hard). We were at OKW, but were ready to go, so left straight away, as they said they would hold our table. We arrived about 8.20, and were taken to our table straight away, and the show started soon after, so the food was a bit rushed.
So really what I'm saying is I think they only cancel if it is really really bad! The seating area is under cover, so I think the only reason they would cancel would be of the safety issues with the performers, because the stage area is partly uncovered. Hope this helps

You will not be charged if it is cancelled which they seem to only do in extreme circumstances.

If you are concerned that this would leave you without anywhere to eat that night, you could make another ressie at a TS nearby just in case. Just remember to cancel if you aren't going to use it (the extra TS)

Thundershowers are so common - pretty much a daily occurrence - in Orlando in the summer months. If this caused a significant number of problems and cancellations, we would have been hearing about them.

We stayed at the Poly 27 July - 3rd august last year. We saw the crowds queuing up to get in one night and they were handing out ponchos. It was eventually cancelled at the last minute as the restaurant had been flooded (it was one heck of a rain storm). We went a couple of nights later and it was baking hot! I overheard that credit cards were being refunded.

We went in August - the dining area is under cover. They only cancel the show if there are really bad thunderstorms. It's a great show - we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Hi,
No you wouldn't be charged or lose your TS credits if they cancel. The only thing I would suggest is to try and book at the begining of your hol, as I tried to change our booking, and it wasn't possible.We booked for 2 days before we went home, and had the show not gone ahead, we would've struggled to use the TS credits!
2Tiggies suggested heving a back up (great idea), but even if we had been able to do that, we would've still lost a TS credit each, (5 for us, I think there are more of you?)
