Spirit of Aloha

Anyone ever do Spirit of Aloha solo?
I have it planned for my trip in September.
I have a zone 3 seat.
How does the food work? It says that they serve it family style. Do you share it with other people around you?

Did it last November and thought that it was ok, but not great. The fire guy is the best part. I also think it is not worth 2 credits, though I know others really enjoy it. They bring each party dishes of food. There was 5 in our party and we all ate from the same. Hope this helps.

Serving platters are brought out to the table with enough food for your entire party to serve into individual plates. If you are dining solo I would imagine you would get your own platter ( portioned accordingly). I don't think they would expect you to share with another group of strangers. Since this is a show I think this is a good choice, no need to worry about conversation during the meal since everyone is watching the show.

I might just skip it, as I've heard that its not so good, and I'd rather use my 2 credits having a better meal.

Lots of people enjoy it. I just wasn't impressed and I didn't think the Section 3 area that we were sitting in was not very good. We were in the back corner to the left of the stage and had a hard time seeing anything. If I am going to use 2 credits, I am going to Cali Grill.

For me its a must do! So when I went solo in October I had to see it! The meal that was brought to the table was served like the others but smaller portion. Free refills still applied and the dessert was still delivered like the others so you didn't feel "left out". During the "fire guy" I moved from my seat to get a better view and had no problem leaving my stuff at the table (I didn't go too far)
