Spirit of Aloha?

We're a group of 4 adults, thinking of booking a dinner show. I was a little put off by Hoop de doo, as it seems a bit boistrous and slapstick for my tastes.

Any thoughs on Spirit of Aloha? Whats the seating like?

We booked Spirit of Aloha for August but in May went to look at the location, DW decided she didn't like the look of it, although mostly covered it is open , no glass in windows etc. She likes cold airconned places especialy in August, also has bird phobia, I guess chances of a bird going in a tiny but she would not rest with no windows, anything suddenly flapped behind her and she would scream.
Now cancelled that and booked Hoop Dee Doo, saw it 2 years ago and had a great evening so back there again for us.

I've heard a lot of mediocre reviews about it - but I'm still going to go ahead and do it next month. I figure we need to decide for ourselves. It seems almost universal that the show is ok, with the second part being good and the food is hit and miss.

We liked it as it wasn't all for kids. The food was OK, nothing special, but the show was good.

We probably will not do it again, but we're glad we did it.

Preferred HDDR to SOA, although DW enjoyed the SOA. We are going to HDDR next year, definetly not doing SOA

to be honest it was a bit pants, the way the seating is set up it can be hard to move around or see, we had the baby and felt hemmed in, the food was just ok nothing special and the kids didnt rearly enjoy it too much they got bored.

We loved SOA, never really fancied hoop de doo as it looked a bit corny. The fire jugglers at SOA are great as is the food. If we could spare the 2 TS credits this time we would definitely go again :thumbsup:
