Spirit of Aloha Question

I have an ADR on 12/20 for this show at 8:00. Since it is an outdoor theater,
do they cancel if the weather is cold? Should I make a reservation elsewhere??
Any suggestions?? It will just be DH and myself. Thanks

We did the luau in September and they did tell us that it could be cancelled due to weather. I am sure if it is very cold out they will probably cancel the show. I would probably book another adr as a back up plan and cancel once I knew the weather for the week.

The show is weather permitting and when we were at Ohana in January, the luau was cancelled due to high wind. It was cold, but the wind was the reasoning.

Double booking ADR's is not allowed. There is a chance if Disney discovers it they will cancel both of your reservations. So pick one and stick with it to avoid having nothing!

If you are interested in a dinner show that won't be cancelled due to weather, and is widely regarded as vastly superior to the Luau, do Hoop Dee Doo Review!! It's fantastic!

they cancel if it 32degrees or lower. Bring a jacket if you think it'll be cold.

Sorry I should have mentioned that if you do book a double reservation be sure to use a different phone number and name if the times for both would be too close together. If you are doing the late dinner show you can easily book an earlier dinner somewhere else as well and not have any problems. For example if you are doing the luau at 8pm you can book another reservation somewhere else for 4pm or so.

This is a hot topic, so I don't want to debate, just present another side to consider:

Any double-booked reservations you make which you don't intend to use, you are preventing someone else who wants a reservation from being able to get an ADR. It is questionable ethics to double book for your convenience at the expense of others who just want to make a reservation for themselves and their family. And we well know from being around here on the boards how stressful and sad it can be for a family to not be able to get the ADR's they are trying for.

Just something to think about.

I'll cancel the "Aloha" ressies at the same time I make another one.( I've been reading where some people do not think the "Aloha" show is worth the money

When we did this show in Dec/05, it was cold but they did not cancel. I do remember that the dishes were metal and your food got cold in a hurry
