Spirit Airlines

Hey I just got a great fare on Spirit for $125.00 rt from LGA-MCO. I have been tracking these fares for a while and thought I was going to drive again (there are 5 of us). The fares for Columbus day weekend have been high so if anyone needs a fare check out their sight.

Now that I have already bought tkts has anyone had any problems. First time on Spirit !!

It's a perfectly reasonable no-frills airline. We flew them last year DTW/MCO, and would happily do so again, as they have direct flights.

They are fine. MY only suggestion is don't get real comfortable with your flight times. I had to be booked on a DTW - MCO flight for June and it has changed twice since it was booked a couple of weeks ago. My seat has changed, too. NO biggie for me since on this trip I am going alone.

Isyt - I booked that same fare through them a few days ago (LGA-MCO)and was thrilled to see how cheap it was! We're normally JetBlue fans but their prices have been going up, up, up for that time frame. At $54 each way on Spirit I was willing to take a chance with them. It saved the 5 of us about $350 off of JetBlue's prices!

Haven't heard anything terrible about Spirit - a few friends have flown with them - keeping my fingers crossed that we enjoy flying with them - it'll be our first time too

We'll be there 9/28-10/4.

We flew them last year, last minute flight, it was about $118.
The FAs were all very nice and lost track of how many times they thanked everyone for flying Spirit.
